Practice Manager Jenna has completed her Certificate 4 in Companion Animal Services delivered by the Delta Society of Australia. This is a nationally recognised course and makes Jenna one of the very few qualified Delta trainers in the Orange district. The Delta Society is the national leader in animal assisted therapies and it offers a positive, reward-based approach to companion animal training.
Jenna is now qualified to design and conduct puppy and adult dog training classes, as well as give one on one behavioural consults for dog owners. She has developed an up to date program for the Mulberry Lane Vet Hospital puppy training. Jenna and her colleague Hannah regularly run classes at the Hospital.
Puppy Training classes are a fun and educational 4 week course that gives your puppy a great start in life. This is essential, so you and your family can enjoy your time with him or her.
Your puppy will be trained to sit, drop, come, stay, walk on a loose lead and will learn a few clever tricks such as shake and roll over along the way. Hannah and Jenna will also provide educational health talks on all relevant topics such as toilet training, jumping, digging, chewing, bite inhibition, teaching your puppy to stay home alone and nutrition to help keep your puppy in good health.
Puppy classes run for 4 weeks on a Monday evening from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
On the final week of puppy preschool your puppy will graduate and receive gifts to celebrate his or her achievements.
